You run into Darknuts, enemies who must be hit from either the back or side to sustain damage. It's also extremely difficult, particularly the last three dungeons. The entire game follows this basic pattern. Each dungeon ends with a final boss after defeating that monster, recovering a Triforce fragment restores your health and returns you to the dungeon entrance. Uncovering secrets (usually hidden staircases) leads you to new items and weapons that will make you stronger. In dungeons, you'll battle your way room by room through waves of enemies. ![]() In the Overworld, after you've grinded for enough rupees, you can drop by shops to purchase shields, bombs, and health potions. Evade their attacks, kill them, and collect whatever rupees (cash), health, or bombs drop from them. With the exception of the starting screen and shops, each new screen offers bunches of enemies. ![]() The game is divided into two main settings: The Overworld and the dungeons. The game itself gives only the minimum of context before dumping you out onto the world with your three hearts and your wooden sword. All of that's pretty much from the original game manual (thankfully downloadable online). At the end of it, Zelda awaits rescue - while Ganon awaits his next victim! Now it's up to young Link to find the fragments and assemble the Triforce. Ganon kidnaps Princess Zelda, but not before she divides the Triforce of Wisdom into eight pieces, hidden in underground dungeons. The peaceful kingdom of Hyrule is invaded by Ganon, the prince of darkness. This is not to be intentionally dark, but just to show a realistic change that would happen over seven years.Original Release: Feb. The child sections are meant to feel more innocent and alive, and the adult sections are meant to showcase the utter destruction of Ganondorf. The biggest change is the difference between the child and adult sections. ![]() There are small stories they tell you, and even new sidequests you can accept. NPCs are useful to talk to, and they give hints to the world around you. There is an attempt to make each village and section of the map seem more lively and have more character than ever before. The overworld is changed quite a lot from the original Ocarina of Time. He can hold his own and he and Link have grown to be great friends. The younger brother of the feisty Tatl is a bit more subdued, but also more brave than what we’ve seen in Majora’s Mask. It is implied that he has had a third adventure in Termina but with the fairy Tael instead of Tatl. Link has come back to the Kokiri Forest to try and find peace after his last adventure. It takes place after Majora’s Mask, but it is not a direct sequel. Voyager of Time is a fan-made game, never released on a physical cart. ![]()
